A third of the way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the cats except for Tomato the Brave. He'll show up before long. Since the Braves-Nats game started before I usually wake, I DVR'd it, and am watching it now. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Having some cube cut Wessex Gold plug VA in my Briarworks C52 with coffee on the side. All the while the hummingbirds conduct a coup on the feeders.

Not sure how many of you have hummingbird feeders, but often dominant ones will "take over" a feeder and run all of their buddies away. This went on for a while and finally the peasants stormed the Bastille and ran the dominant ones off. Now, they are feeding like there's no tomorrow, ha.

Had the horses up in stalls last night due to the much needed rain. But now I have to go clean stalls and do some repair work. Shoveling horse manure is a sure-fire method of putting one back in one's place in the universe. 🤠

We have three feeders and the black necked hummingbirds like to spar but everyone gets a drink. Then the jerks of the hummingbird world show up later in the season. The Rufous hummingbirds are very territorial and aggressive. I have seen one male Rufous keep six black necked off from three feeders for quite a while. Luckily, they are just passing through on there way to their breeding grounds in the Northwest. They are fun to watch though during their brief stays.

Did a set of walking reps, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Tomato the Brave was stretched out on the driveway waiting for me to feed me. He is making up for lost time and has eaten more than usual. The other ferals are hiding under the deck since rain is expected. I'm just happy to get my walking in today, but the rest of the week's forecast isn't looking good for walking.

Boy, he's a beauty, for sure. We don't have this breed in Tennessee and as territorial as you say they are, I guess I am glad we don't.

Smoking this legendary tobacco from Mac Baren: Amsterdamer. In a MM Cobbler. A gift from a friend who was on vacation in Andorra with his wife and daughters. Well, it's a tobacco that sells very well here in Spain, especially for rolling cigarettes. I would have liked to write a brief review of this tobacco, but my sense of smell is not 100% and could lead to a misleading result. All I can say, having smoked it on other occasions in the past, is that I remember it as a good everyday tobacco, easy to smoke, mild, with few relights and low nicotine content. A subtle fruity, hay-like touch. Somewhat flat and neutral. An everyday tobacco, or a tobacco for battle, as we say here in Spain. What do you think? Has anyone else tried it? Do you like it? Rating: 2/4 stars.View attachment 419595
I have smoked this on several occasion, found it somewhat bland tasting but can be echanched by adding some bolder tobaccies or even perique

Enjoyed a Jethro Bodine size bowl of Raisin Bran with extra raisins thrown in, a bunch of unsalted peanuts, a red delicious and a golden delicious apple lunch. I'm smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Jamaica Blue Mountain Dark Roast, neat, is my drink.
