Passing the half way mark of this bowl of Silent beta test in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a tapered dark tortoise shell colored acrylic stem. Have cleaned the bowls of two estate pipes, and am working on the shanks and stems. Going to clean the pipes that I smoked this afternoon.

Almost half way through this bowl of Silent beta test in a 1980s White Pipe straight lattice apple meerschaum with an acrylic yellow cream colored saddle stem. Watching the Orioles-Rays game. Didn't get to clean any more pipes, but I will later. Tomato the Brave came in to eat, and is enjoying life in that cardboard box. I fed the others outside. Fed Molly Danger in the bedroom. Sleepy Suzy is by my side.

Heading out the door with a bowl of Blockade Runner in the new Pete Tawny Deluxe after a nice late first meal of the day. I think i could have fasted today, but not with as much smoking as i have planned. Hoping it doesn't rain too soon. I'd like to explore the 3 Old Joe blends i have slated for today. Time will tell...

Got a real chuckle when yu mentioned "fasting" and I saw that cake of tobacco under the stem of that most excellent pipe . . . . the cake looked so much like like a muffin or chocolate square that I broke my little fast and went for a muffin in the freezer myself. Don't know whether I should thank you or not, lol!

You really have taste coming out of your butt, Paul. I don't like colored stems much at all, and have to be objective when I see them and comment, realizing it's just a personal bias.

However, this one really works, and I can't imagine it any other way. Ya might want to send a bit of your innate sense of elegance my way, eh? Beautiful pipe indeed!

That's right, my friend Paul. Here it's already €4.20 for 40 damn grams. This one is a little tastier than the one in the yellow bag. But as you rightly say, it's a good option for mixing. Although I hadn't smoked it for a long time. This afternoon I smoked it again, but my sense of smell is still at a minimum. Even so, I found it pleasant. You have to smoke it very slowly because it's like gunpowder, hahahaha.

Had to laugh at the price. We'd kill for prices like that in this God forsaken land of ours . . . .

Man, do I covet that tin of SWR. My tastebuds are still not operating at normal, but fortunately I've only 5 days left on meds. SWR has become (along with Smokers' Pride Whiskey) the tobaccos that would keep me in the pipe game if a return to normal was not in the offing. Fortunately, I managed to stock up on both before the big tax increase of last year, so I'm only musing, not whining.

Oh yeah, there'd be a couple of English and Balkans, as well.

Nice pipe, too! :)
