I almost forgot how much I hated Beltway traffic. Being retired I can’t run lights anymore but still made good time up to Camden Yards and back from Richmond for a Game. It’s good to be back home and finally have a pipe and the lack of one during the day made for a long one.

Relaxing after a later, but wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas with strawberries for dessert. I've a third of a bowl left of year 2014 FVF in a straight smooth brown year 1923 Dunhill A billiard 60 patent March 9.15 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap. Getting ready to watch an episode of Asia on BBC America.

Now smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 1984 medium bend black grain etched Savinelli Non Pareil 9310 pokerish dublin with a horn ferrule and a black vulcanite flared stem.

Hal O The Wynd in a late 1800’s Meer with splendid silver work but no hallmarks. I have about a dozen pipes with ornate silver work and they all have late 1800’s style and a few have hallmarks all are from 1890-1899.

Finished a jar of Salty Dogs using a Vauen pipe of the year 2024 watching the Bills/Ravens game. What a wild game it was, and with a down-to-the wire ending and everything.

It was the prettiest early Fall day I can remember in Anchorage. In keeping with the Kaywoodie bulldog theme, I enjoyed an hour with a cherry version of Three Friars in a 2019 Kaywoodie smooth unbeaded bulldog up in my backyard treehouse.

Just finished smoking year 2018 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a straight smooth brown 1960s-70s BBB Own Make 506 Canadian with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave were brought in, and they ate. Now, they're looking around deciding what to do. Tomato has that "I pity the fool who tries to get that catnip sock away from me" look. Daisy looks too embarrassed to admit that Tomato is her brother.

Dark Sails on the drive in, and now the very thorny Argentinian Palo Verde was cut and cleared from the street (blood and sweat was involved), I’m driving home with some 2013 SG 1792DKF (very muted as oppressed to fresh or less than 5yr old).

Nearing the last third of this bowl of 1990s Edgeworth Ready Rubbed in a medium bend dark brown 2017 Don Warren 17 smooth straight grain rough top Dublin with a multi-brown cumberland stem and ferrule in the military mount style. Harry the Hairy came in to eat, but he was more interested in watching Tomato the Brave eat his wet food which Harry doesn't get. I kept them apart during that time. Harry soon wanted out, but Tomato is still inside bathing himself. I noticed he got near a catnip sock so I expected he'll have fun with it any moment.

Half way through this bowl of year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem. Reading baseball box scores. The ferals are outside, but before long, I'll bring Daisy the Feral Princess in to eat. Since Tomato the Brave has been sleeping in lately, I'll see if he wants to do that, too.
