Today's smokes were:

Half&Half in the burley cob, and
C&D Virginia Flake (big chunks teased into thick ribbons) in my #1 cob.

The Half&Half had its moments, but I definitely favored the Virginia Flake. Good smoking weather on the porch this morning!

I had my eye on a Crown Monarch based on shape, stem style, and price.

Alas, it doesn't look like the Crown inventory will be replenished any time soon.

I'm near the last quarter of this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a smooth medium bend terracotta Peterson POY 2023 X160 464/1100 military mount egg with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This OTC-like mild-to-medium Bur/Va should go on sale in November.
