Now smoking Wilke Gentry Royal Blend No. 2 in a black sandblast quarter bend undated Briarcraft (Dr. Grabow made) Wimbledon 810 author with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Listening to Suspense on the XM.

Pipe maker Soren Eric Andersen passed away in 2020, leaving behind some stummels in his workshop.
William Lungaard (William’s Estate Briar Pipes) purchased them from Soren’s widow and asked his friend, Karsten Tarp to finish them
This one features 360degree straight grain with a rim redolent with Birdseye.
Walrus tusk accent.
This perfectly balanced lightweight pipe clenches effortlessly.
A bowl of Peterson’s Founder’s Choice. A lovely aromatic blend with notes of vanilla, rum and mango.
I like this very much despite having previously declared I dislike vanilla and rum blends. The tin note is replicated in the smoke.

Almost half way through this bowl of year 2012 Carter Hall in a black rusticated medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 437/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. That'll do it for me today.

I’m having Orlik Golden Sliced in this Kaywoodie made Heritage Heirloom I picked up for a song. Tonight is the first time it’s ever been smoked by anybody Huzzah! 
Starting the morning with 2015 Stonehaven in a Poul Hansen lovat with a cup of Timor coffee. What a beautiful, mellow smoke.
