I'm sitting here smoking some Sillem's Councilor Flake, an under the radar replacement for Solani 633. Don't believe me? Try it, you'll see. Anyway, I have my MacBook open and I'm perusing SP's tins and see many recent reviews written in Chinese. So I use Google Translate to see what's being said. They call Orlik Golden sliced "the red judge" and Capstan Blue is "the blue winch."

Finished that Archie story and now I get to smoke non-work pipes. I've passed the quarter mark on this bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Down Yonder in a straight black 1963 Dunhill LB Shell 4S billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. The Dodgers -Mariners game is in the 12th, tied 1-1. If the Dodgers win, they win their division. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Enjoyed a late-night bowl of Savinelli 140 in my Stanwell Registry Era 30-shape Selected Briar last night, following my Latin Jazz gig. Great band. Great musicians. Sometimes it just clicks. This baccy's been clicking too, big time. Been smoking down this tin fast. It's not getting jarred.
