Big day! Got my first pipe lighter, a Kiribi, and the two tins on the right in the mail. Just finished a bowl of the 1931 and it was great - first burley blend I've liked so far. Went to the local tobacconist for butane and was lucky enough to score an Esoterica.

Just lit Seattle Pipe Club's Mississippi River Special Reserve Flake in a Grabow Lark. It's a delicious blend with extra thick cut flakes. Still lights easily folded and stuffed, however. Definitely preferable to some other's 'Used-to-be a Flake' cut.

Sometimes a pipe & blend just go together. I don’t find that often, but when I do…the pairing is maintained. Loving this HH Burley Flake in this Savinelli Series III unvarnished. These pipes are well-worth your dollars. Excellent value. ? ️
