Big day! Got my first pipe lighter, a Kiribi, and the two tins on the right in the mail. Just finished a bowl of the 1931 and it was great - first burley blend I've liked so far. Went to the local tobacconist for butane and was lucky enough to score an Esoterica.
I’m smoking GH Rum Flake and sipping Henry McKenna 10 yr.
Watching hummingbirds take turns, at the feeder. Absolutely gorgeous weather this evening. Cheers!
Going walking with a bowl of Wilke Rum and Maple in a straight smooth with a tobacco leaf carving on the bottom left, dark brown 1980s Sir Brent pot with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Joining the stream with a bowl of Wilke Maple in anUpshall P Smooth Bulldog with hex shank and saddle stem. A tastebud-adjusting bowl of C&D Kajun Kake in a Burak smooth Tankard awaits.
Just lit Seattle Pipe Club's Mississippi River Special Reserve Flake in a Grabow Lark. It's a delicious blend with extra thick cut flakes. Still lights easily folded and stuffed, however. Definitely preferable to some other's 'Used-to-be a Flake' cut.

A third of the way through this bowl of Mac Baren Scottish Mixture in a straight, smooth brown 1960s Lane era Charatan Special 38 bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Peter Stokkebye 4th Generation 1931 on a lattice globe meer.
Sometimes a pipe & blend just go together. I don’t find that often, but when I do…the pairing is maintained. Loving this HH Burley Flake in this Savinelli Series III unvarnished. These pipes are well-worth your dollars. Excellent value. ?
