It really is! I only have two others, both Markus Fohr. One is a straight up full clay but very small (as most were), and the other is one with a 'modern' stem (meaning the same gauge as say, a contemporary briar). I like this new one better because even though the stem is not clay, it has the same gauge as if it were clay (and feels good to clench). Quite happy with it so far.

@Tar Wheel I enjoyed the Full Virginia Flake in my clay pipe; I can't imagine how much Gawith tobacco must have been smoked in clay pipes over the years!

@--dante-- Be careful not to break your clay pipes; it's happened to me a few times!
Going to give up the pipe next month for Stoptober; need to get that Condor down my throat!
