Luxury Bulls Eye Flake in a Peterson Aran 106 smooth. Good creamy smoke, with hints of sweetness. Dried for 10 hours, and then rubbed out. A little moisture at the end of the bowl.
50/50 Mixture of PS Bullseye Flake and PS Luxury Twist in a Prince of Wales 9MM (Balsa filter). Tobacco dried for 10 hours and rubbed out. Really smoked beautifully in this pipe. Sweeter than my previous bowl.
My last smoke of the day is year 1999 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed in a 1970s dark brown straight Linkman Signature billiard with a nickel band and a black vulcanite tapered stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem.
A beautiful morning so I thought I would start my day off with a bowl of 'black and brown' which is XXX Irish Twist and Brown Irish Twist not to be confused with Irish Pigtail. I am using a slightly longer than usual Vienna meerschaum 'cutty' circa 1880s with a Briarville amberine stem to replace the chewed up amber one. Cup of Expresso and a glass of white Port make this a perfect Saturday to clear up a few work related issues!
