love rusticated pokers, what a beauty you have there!
@Chasing Embers I've got a clay that shape...I absolutely hate bulldog/rhodesian pipes. You've made one that I love!

This time, I tried to cut the cubes to be consistently smaller (cube-ier?) and filled the pipe the night before to get a little more drying time. Some kindling/shake on top might have saved me a few relights, but it's rolling well now. The differences in mouthfeel and flavor (over fully rubbing out) are still blowing my mind a little!
I tried it and liked it right away, didn't even have to think about it.First time smoking Mixture 79 in a MM Apple Diplomat with a Forever Stem.
To be honest, with some of the comments about the blend, I wasn’t to sure what to except, but that it might be really terrible.
This is very Burley forward tasting, with a lot of good Burley notes going on, along with some subtle sweetness.
I’m shocked, this is a really nice all day blend, mine really tastes like good quality tobacco.
I bought it off of Cup O Joes last week, maybe the blend has improved, from the really low reviews from the past.
The tin note might be a bit odd, but not the taste...
