Bruto called it a 360° straight grain. Pity he doesn't blast, the rings would've been incredible!
I went on an italian pipe shop site and found a beautiful rusticated Don Carlos pipe in a shape I like but its just out of my price range but I may save up for it. I just wish it was filtered. I will be keeping an eye out for that brand in the future. Now, his pipes are works of art as well as functional pipes.

He does good work. I picked that one up unsmoked from great estate pipes seven years ago for near nothing. I keep meaning to get another but it would have to be 2002 or newer as I really like the sterling treble clef stem logo.

I took the rest of my batch of CC Rivendell minus the Burley in my drying tray and added a hefty pinch of Old Toby and a pinch of Sutcliffe Chocolate Mousse and mixed them together. I just tried a bowl in the Savinelli 128 EF Billiard. Wow ! It tasted like a buttery toasted chocolate croissant fresh from the oven for the top 2/3rds then like french bread and spring mix lettuce for the last 1/3rd. I will be enjoying this for a day or two as I have about an ounce left. Nice ! puffy
