Finally getting the time to try the new Sun Bear Mountain Flower properly: I have some cube-cut loaded in this MM Riverboat Gambler on a Forever Stem and some rubbed out loaded in the Bullfrog Eskimo below:
This blend feels very different from the previous releases, it's much more of a Oriental than a honey virginia. Tin notes of a boozy honey lakeland are also very noticeable in the taste. This blend tastes pretty 'young' for whatever reason, I'd bet it'll age nicely into a great Oriental.
Good day to all. Haven't been on the forum, or any website, for a couple days, due to some cables being cut. No cell, no net. Kind of peaceful, to be honest. Had a bowl of Old Toby yesterday. Today, I will have PS Luxury Navy Flake in a clay. Hope everyone has a good weekend.
I thought people were crazy to only smoke certain blends in certain weather. But I'm learning quickly that I like old dark fired in the fall.

2007 Wessex Burley slices in a cob. Not for me, can’t stand black licorice and this has it in spades, to me if a hospital had a taste this would be it. Ymmv.

I had started out with a DGT'd bowl of Capstan Blue in my Big Ben Ranger, but found myself smoking it too greedily, so out of concern for my tongue I put it back on the shelf and switched gears. Now for a sample of C&D Stratfordshire in a Nording Abstract, both part of a very generous gift from @Streeper541. 
This is my first freehand-style pipe. I've typically been drawn to more traditional shapes, but I've gotta admit this thing is fun to hold and look at! And the Stratfordshire is tasty. Thanks again, Chris!

Going for a nap, after that a fine pipe to start the evening. Charring light has been done. I let it sit for a bit and then the true light. After that enjoying a few episodes of the tv-series The West Wing.
Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
I don't do cigar often. But lately, getting craving for it. Didn't want to spend too long outside. So petite cigar for a quick smoke. Very mild. Not much of that horse shit smell.
Some warped scarecrow from last year in a bent Missouri meerschaum emerald cob! The year of age has done this blend some good. Happy smokes all!
