It's a rainy Sunday morning here in Eastern Tennessee. About perfect for a bowl of Carter Hall in a cob and the first cup of coffee.

I smoked way too many bowls yesterday and woke feeling like I had attended the New York Pipe Club annual BBQ! Having cleared my chest out and I am ready to get the day rolling. I think I'll kick off with a 50/50 Black Irish XX and CCP mixture and take a gentle walk to the vegetable market. It's always nice to see the vegetables as I prefer my produce to be fresh, organic and recently harvested. My pipe of choice is yet another of my interminable meerschaum 'cutty' pipes although this one has a rather nice Redmanol stem and silver band.

I’m working in my office writing reports today so these three pipes are going to get a workout. I really like short pipes when I’m working on my computer.

Granger in these Ryan Alden Devil Anse style pipes. The quarter is for size comparison. I just load all three at the same time and it’s off to the races.
