Pale horn stem looking almost like marine ivory ...

... and quite different to the more usual darker, variegated hues of horn stems of the period such as these three from 1891, 1902 and 1900:-

Half way through this bowl of the very dry year 2015 D&R A.P. Rimboche in a smooth medium brown, medium bend 1950s B.B.B. Own Make 307 apple with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite saddle stem. This will get me to dinner time. Watching the Braves-Orioles game.

jiminks, you mentioned smoking an H. Jones Easyloader in a previous post in this eternally long thread. I acquired one and I am thoroughly impressed.
