I look forward to your porch pics in anticipation of spotting your doberman. I adopted one 3 years ago and he has the greatest temperament. Great companion!

I might as well post now sans pic. Started with Sutliff 515 RC-1 closely followed by Old Joe Krantz Blue Label. Keeping it simple yet gratifying.
Great dogs. That old dobe has the patience of Job. My six year old daughter hangs all over him and tries to treat him like one of her baby dolls. He just lays there and takes it. They are amazing with kids. Mine is getting pretty old now, going on 12, but he still acts like a puppy. Smartest, easiest to train dog I’ve ever had.

Now smoking Mystery Test Blend Z in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a dark tortoise shell colored tapered acrylic stem. A friend sent this and two other samples in our guessing game. These samples were submitted by blender at the 2012 Chicago Show to see who could most faithfully recreate John Cotton’s No. 1&2. I’m wondering if any us involved will pick the one that was the winner.

Now smoking year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Chatting with the fella who gifted me the pipe. I've about a third of this eight ounce can left.

Did a little snacking, and am now smoking Wilke No. 111 in a smooth medium bend 1950s Peterson Shamrock Killarney 9BC with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Time to clean some dishes, and then read EGR's autobiography.

During our Saturday afternoon "Brady Bunch" ZOOM Smoke, a collection of seasoned and garrulous pipemen, I had a bowl of 2014 McClelland's No. 24, in a 2003 Colm Magner rusticated billiard, with a 1/4 bent saddle bit. The conversation was great, and the smoke, sweet and mellow.
