Part way through this bowl of AcesFour’s VaBur in the third pipe I ever bought ($1.95), a 1974 smooth straight French briar Hadley Apple with a black vulcanite tapered stem. This will get me to dinner time.

I don't always smoke that fast; I'm just practicing for a contest.
I got 24min out of a clay pipe of tobacco on one occasion and 17min on another, but 10-15min is more normal for me!
Earlier, OHM Red Turkish in a Sav churchwarden, and now, D&R Two Timer twice toasted burley in a straight taper-stemmed BC billiard. Switching between WUNC Back Porch Music and an audio book.
I'm enjoying some C&D Super Balkan in a massive Moretti bent brandy. This is an excellent blend, and it makes me want to pay more attention to C&D. Surprising sweetness with the minor latakia smoke, and some sour popping up here and there that occasionally takes a front seat. I have no idea what all is in here, but there must be latakia, some orientals, and something sweet as well.

I pulled out one of a few pipes I didn’t pack away when I moved back to northern Michigan (I needed something to burn my tobacco in), an old Bjarne Viking I picked up when pipesandcigars.com was still based in Albany, NY. I’ve been smoking out of this vulcanite-stemmed beater all day, currently finishing up some Mid-Town Prince Andrew ... haven’t decided what to dig out for the end-of-day smoke yet. (Sorry for the lousy image.)

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and asparagus dinner with Madagascar vanilla bean ice cream and strawberries for dessert. I'm about a third of the way through this bowl of 1990s MacBaren Scottish Mixture in a 2015 Basil Meadows Bing Crosby Merchant Service replica with a smooth straight thin shank, aluminum band and black ebonite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching an episode of The Untouchables.
