Half way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the cats except for Harry the Hairy, who wasn't here. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

PS LNF in the Barontinii 1/2 spigot bent billiard with 9mm filter. This is a great fall and winter pipe for slow sipping but it does get hot during the summer months. While smoking it I noticed a small crack beginning on the surface of the pipe; then I noticed some more. Under a 20x loop the pipe is starting to look like an old oak plank from a sailing ship. This is the pipe I had all the steam holes in that I repaired. At some point I will have to refinish it again with some wood filler. It must have been made from a very old piece of very dry briar. Smokes great and will last my lifetime but maybe not generations like my others. Time will tell.

Did a set of walking reps under cloudy, humid skies, and am passing the last quarter of this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem.

👍🏻 Alexander Tupytsin is one of the notable Russian pipe artisans based in Saint Petersburg.
I really like this piece (by the way, it’s not cheap😬).

I really like that piece, too. Elegant, incredible wood, unique mount - fantastic overall impression that lasts throughout the viewing as your eyes scan it overall.

Today's Kewpie Doll!! 🤩 👍👍

In my regular rotation, Commonwealth, nice and strong for earlier in the day piping. And just got my hands on Chocolate Flake to finally try.

To be completely candid I’m not digging Ch Flake, as I discern possible PG additives. Can’t say for sure ( I wish the blenders would just tell us). But since I tried vaping 14 years ago to get away from American Spirit cigs, I noticed most vape juices gave me a stomach ache or an itchy hive very quickly after vaping. CH Flake did the exact same so that’s my hypothesis 🧪. Other SG blends don’t have any such effect. It’s a theory in progress 😆. I’ll try a few more bowls to verify.

If anyone is having stomach issues or any other reaction I would start there. One additional possible proof, once I found Kind Juice (pure VG ((Vegetable Gycerin with no PG)) I was able to vape with no reactions at all. I’m discerning I’m allergic to PG, which makes my tobacco journey a little more complex.

Kelly's Coin in a Caminetto bamboo this early morning. Family leaving today. One bowl and then off to get the coffee going...

Still trying to get used to all of the pipe styles. Getting there with bamboos . . . . still kinda reminds me of the hotrods or wild motorcycles my friends used to make from parts and fittings from disparate sources. Pastiches. Got up my nerve to comment on one (here, for the first time) so I realize it's MY problem. But I'm dealing with it! :ROFLMAO:

Maybe I should get one - but I gotta give one away and get another Savinelli first, lol!

Lunch was three Jethro Bodine size bowls of freshly made New England clam chowder, four Nathan's hot dogs topped with mustard and chili, a few freshly made oatmeal raisin cookies and unsalted peanuts. I'm smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star 50th, Neat, is my drink.
