Enjoyed too short a snooze, and am smoking first production Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Sleepy Suzy stretched out on my lap right after I finished my last smoke, and I was snoozin' before she was. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Call it morbid curiosity: threw a tin of Year of the Dragon in a recent order and am just trying it now in the SMS Big Bent Lattice Meer. The tin note is really very nice! Vanilla and Rhubarb. Tobacco a very satisfactory moisture level.

Lights and smokes easily. Taste... meh. Thankfully no chemical notes. I think there is a slight flavor trying to come forward from under the smoke. Going to leave it in the tin a while, hopefully as it dries a bit, that flavor will be able to come out...

Lunch was three Jethro Bodine size bowls of freshly made New England clam chowder, four Nathan's hot dogs topped with mustard and chili, a few freshly made oatmeal raisin cookies and unsalted peanuts. I'm smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star 50th, Neat, is my drink.

Ok Jim. Far be it from me to ever question the voracity of anything that you post..... but I have read your posts in the past where it said that you had a "24 ounce Porterhouse steak" or the time you said you had "four large hamburgers," etc. But, in this post you said..... and I quote: "Lunch was three Jethro Bodine size bowls of freshly made New England clam chowder, four Nathan's hot dogs topped with mustard and chili, a few freshly made oatmeal raisin cookies and unsalted peanuts." How in the world could you possibly eat this much food??? In photos of you holding the cats, you don't look like you weigh 400 + lbs, so please fill in the blanks for us who hold you in such high esteem.......
Do you have a tape worm????

Cellar Showoff! (That’s just my jealousy talking).

This afternoon was HU Dark Moor in the J07. Background mud was a couple million gallons of water we got this weekend that we pumped out to find a home in the Gila River drainage (basin drains a couple square miles of downtown, and was about 20ft deep from this weekend’s rain when we turned the big pumps on Sunday morning).

Just had some C&D Exclusive/Derringer in the commuter pipe driving home.
