You notice anything different from regular 1792?
There is a difference. I find that the topping is not as heavy, which may turn some people off, but it is offset with rich tobacco flavor that's a little more subdued than say dark plug or flake. I like the balance so far although I think there will be subtle differences as the ends are not consistent in color and roughness and to be fair they weren't meant to be. This is my second smoke and it had more topping than the first.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm smoking year 2020 Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. All the ferals were fed except for the absent Abner the Eager. Hope he shows up soon.

@RPK Sorry life got crazy and I skipped a couple weeks hahaha. Getting to the final stages now:

That looks a lot like the Pine Pass area about 100 miles north of here. No leaves - we call this the "dull browns." We're about four or five days behind this - I'm slightly North of Prince George, about 30 miles from Summit Lake, at which point the rivers flow north into the McKenzie and Parsnip systems. Beautiful but dangerous country. But once you're there (or here) ya can't leave it!

Helotes, Texas area
Been reviewed before, but I finished a bowl of bulk Habana Daybream ($6/oz) from Finck’s Cigar in Helotes, Texas.
A good, non aromatic blend that evokes a calm day down at the shore.
Hints of salt, wood, earth, and spice with absolutely no bite. Very enjoyable.
No waxy aftertastes and goes good with wine, bourbon, or beer.
I packed it light in my Daytonian Billiard. It comes out of the package crumbly and ready to smoke. Very little drying time needed. I use a variation of the Frank method and can make this Daydream last at least two hours ….
Well worth it to sit a spell on the back deck and pretend your on the water ( even if your hundreds of miles away)
Enjoy…..
