Now smoking year 2020 C&D Virginia Flake in a straight smooth brown 1950s-mid ‘60s (GBD) Rozier San Francisco 9240 squat bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed all the ferals except for the absent Abner the Eager who did not show up today. Guess he's favoring that hurt paw, and doesn't want to walk over here from wherever he is.

Did some low calorie snacking, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a dark brown smooth straight post-WW2-pre-1962 LHS Certified Purex 24 squat bulldog with a nickel ferrule and built in stinger and a black acrylic saddle stem. Lately, Harry the Hairy, who always comes to the back door when I open it, has managed to sneak in to the house several times. We usually put him right back out, but I decided to leave him in this evening to see what would happen. I shut the hall door so he wouldn't go to the bedroom to upset Molly Danger, who still hasn't recovered from the shock of Sam and her scampers. He stayed in the den and kitchen, ate a bit, and didn't try bugging either Daisy the Feral Princess, Tomato the Brave or Sleepy Suzy (who was on m'lady's lap). He spent a lot of time on my lap soaking in attention, but after about a half hour, I think he was bored/nervous or something, and wanted out. All went well.

Now smoking year 2016 Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake in a straight smooth brown post-1964 Parker Super Bruyere 88/F group 3 bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching an interview with actor Hugh O'Brian. Sleepy Suzy's still by my side.

I'm doing one of those no buy years, too. Still have one new Falcon bowl (untouched and not broken in) and about ten pipes to get to know better. I'm into month two and so far, so good! Mastercard will be overseeing my resolve in this area. :ROFLMAO:
@gord I haven't bought anything made in China for nearly 2 years.
As for Buy Nothing New; I prefer used / vintage / new old stock / refurbished items.
Much better for the environment and more character.
Need to avoid buying a new Clay when I go to Buxton again:)

After some goat curry and saag paneer for lunch (i love Indian food), I'm filling up this bowl of 1792 in a Mehmet Cinar baby billiard and getting back to burning some pipeweed.

@dottlejockey I was smoking 1792 Flake at the Sealed Knot Battle of Nantwich event last January. A fitting baccy!
See if you can spot me!

Enjoyed a small, but tasty Snap Dragon apple, and Have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2016 Newminister 400 Superior Navy Flake in a straight smooth brown year 1948 Parker Super Bruyere patent 23 88/F bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. I'll end the day with this smoke. It's also the last my squat bulldogs, so I managed to get them all smoked this evening/morning.

Your pipe is a beaut. A meer is near the top of my list of next pipes. Mind sharing the maker?
Thanks so much! Yea, it’s just a no-name AKB that I grabbed off SP. I did replace the stem on this one. It came with a dull orange stem. I didn’t care for it and found a replacement stem on eBay that I liked and couldn’t be happier. Everyone definitely needs a meer! Hope you’re able to find one that you like!
