Finally recovered from a foodbone illness. The first smoke of the month is some Makhuwa plus lat in a Kai Nielsen brandy. Some coffee on the side and lit with the 70's Dupont that I finally got working right. I had to take a dremmel to the asian pipe nozzle to get a proper fit.

Clan in a clay. Got some GH Coniston Cut Plug / Kentucky Nougat & Sharrow Majestic / Superior in Buxton; 4 packets re-used. All suited to the King's Clay!
3 bags of rubbish & 4 vapes today; good to meet Anthony again. Just the 2 of us. Bought my zero waste groceries / toiletries; Sara will be delivering them this evening. Another 4 containers re-used! Got bought a hot chocolate today as well.
Looking forward to Nottingham Pipe Show; going to save my pipe baccy packets for any samples or gifted pipeweed. Not much single use with me!

Over the hump, Chenet’s cake in an Ilsted, I got this Ilsted for only a somewhat unaffordable price because it was so “well-loved”, it smokes terrific. If this pipe had been pristine it would have been way out of my price range, glad to have it. I became interested in having one of his when I first learned he taught Manduela. You’ll see the similarities in his bulldogs. His pipes are generally way bigger than hers though.

So while contemplating the MLB playoff picture, which can be summarized as so:

Wild Card: No. 5 Royals at No. 4 Orioles (winner plays Yankees)

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Bye: No. 1 Dodgers and No. 2 Phillies

Wild Card: No. 6 Mets at No. 3 Brewers (winner plays Phillies)

I am puffing on a sea rock billiard loaded with some Uhle's 00.
