How was your homemade mixture? Whats the ratio for your Virginia mix? It sounds awesome.

It was basically the last bit of each blend. I would say there was 1/4 oz or a little more of each blend. Nothing scientific as I just threw them together. It's a pretty decent blend if you like red Virginia's.

@RobNYC I once made a clay pipe of St Bruno Ready Rubbed last 54 minutes; need to see if I can get at least an hour's smoke out of it... Beat @Ahi Ka in a Redcoat vs Kiwi clay pipe smoke-off! I think my clays hold between 2 & 3g of baccy.

Always remember, practice makes perfect...or almost.

...smoked some in the car on my way back from dinner the other night. Didn't get sick, but I sure regretted that decision. Car pipe is only seeing mild aromatics from now on.

Having Sir Walter Raleigh in a Bowers of Kalamazoo “Hickory Corners Cobs” Self Cleaning Cob. The metal dial on the bottom of the cob is attached to two metal arms inside the chamber; when you turn the dial, these arms scrape the cake build up.
