Settling in with some 1792 and my "book" to wait for the gas company tech who is going to perform the required (by them) periodic replacement of my gas meter. No big inconvenience, as all I have to do is be around during the arrival window they were kind enough to provide: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.

Good old 1792! Without doubt the blend I'll ask for on death row for my final smoke when my misdeeds finally catch up with me. 1792! The only tobacco I'm aware of that will not only ghost your pipes, it will ghost your mouth.IMG_5699.jpeg

My only bamboo shank pipe is a Kaywoodie Mandarin which I generally use for mild English blends but I’m curious, as bamboo is so absorbent do you find they ghost easily?
In short, no. My taste buds are fried though, not sure I’d notice what some might. There is a metal tube through most if not all my satous, I need to look at my other bamboo closer and see how they did it. I’d say most of my collection has bamboo, I love how it looks and the pipes are quite lightweight. This is something I’ve been meaning to learn about, good question!
