Jealous I'm not at the Vegas show, so I've pulled out the big guns and heavy artillery tonight - McClelland's underrated bulk blend No 2000 Fragrant Matured Cake in this self-restored S. Bang "Aristocratica Rossa' Brandy:

GL Pease Embarcadero from March 2020 in an Altinay translucent meerschaum billiard.

I did a dry reaming and a dry clean of the pipe today. The reason to do a dry clean: After a wet clean the pipe is not smokable for 24 hours and I wanted to smoke it tonight.

I also weighed it today after clean. It came at 51g after the clean (No of bowls smoked 523). It has been coming at 52 g consistently for a very long time then it weighed 50 g last time. I would say these are standard errors of measurement but not sure why it would be so.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, orange roughy and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2014 Orlik Golden Sliced in an early 20th century Gordon Special Bruyere 49 apple with a triangular shank and tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching the ball game, and getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Some burley scraps again, whatever was left on my drying tray. I'd say half Pegasus, and half Briar fox. Either way it's 100 percent delicious.
Got some black coffee in my new Stanley French press thermos. And my boy Oats beside me in the smoking corner of the garage tonight. He doesn't care if his bed is pink.
