2022 Balkan Sobranie in a Stanwell 03 billiard. This tin is the youngest one I have and I wanted to try it to see what current production is like compared the 2011 tins I have been smoking from. Well it is different. Much more Latakia than I recall. The tobacco has much more black leaf in it. Not as balanced as prior years. A little disappointing. Not sure I would chase new tins of this one.

Half way through this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the Padres-Mets game.
