OGS in a Trypis bent acorn. Starting to get the impression that other than Rouxgaroux and PSLNF I don't really like vapers/Virginia blends as much as I thought I did.

Having Rouxgaroux in a pipe right now, and it is consistently way sweeter to me than the Capstan Blue I’m also working on, which other people have described as “sweet.” I have so little experience smoking Virginias properly that I dunno whether it’s the leaf choice or personal chemistry or what that makes the difference. I just ordered a bunch of Virginia blends/VaPers, so I’m interested (and excited) to get more data!

C&D Adagio in my Savinelli Bacco 321 rusticated bent author. I have a faint memory of being so-so on this blend, which popped randomly into my mind when thinking about what to have. Figured I'd give it another go. Bird report: California scrub-jay, House finch, California towhee, White-crowned sparrow, Steller's jay, Red-tailed hawk, Mountain chickadee, Common raven, Oak titmouse, Hairy woodpecker, and Dark-eyed junco. Just another lovely day here in the SoCal mountains. Drinking a hot chai rooibos tea. Sukkot begins at sundown...looking forward to lunting tomorrow w/wife and horse.

@Severus I've lost count of how many packets of St Bruno Ready Rubbed I've smoked in my clay pipes. The slow smoke competition I'm thinking of practicing for uses St Bruno RR. Need to go somewhere to practice and see how long I can make my clay pipe of baccy last:)

2022 C&D Carolina Red Flake in some older Britwood BBB Wyteway Billiard I’m trying to figure out.

Such a lovely simple pipe, pretty decent grain too.

I haven’t smoked in 3-4 weeks, the ole ticker was really bothering me, and really had me worried there for a bit. But I listened to my body, and I immediately stopped anything bad I was doing, and went into 100% Health Fighting Combat mode. LOL 😆

As long as you’ve not reached the point of no return, and you give the body what it needs, it can heal, and mine has, you just have to seriously know how to do things naturally.

Unfortunately I’m highly sensitive to anything I put in my body, nicotine can really get my heart feeling like crap, so I have to go easy and careful.

So, smoking isn’t healthy, and while we may never might know the full truths, I’m starting to look now for blends that are all natural, with nothing artificial added, and hopefully less chemically laced tobacco will make me feel better.

Be well everyone! ❤️
