Smoking now a combination, actually the remainings of 2 tobaccos that could not fill a bowl on their own plus some sraps of a 3d one, because the remainings were also not enough. So: private Basmas blend plus Peter Heinrichs 110 plus Capstan Blue.

Do you also do that: mix the remainings and smoke them?
I guess/think some do...

In a MM Corn Cob, which is my 1st pipe, still fully functional. At a point, I added pipe mud at the bottom, that was a good thing, I also cleaned the rim but I regretted for this, I liked it better before...

Have a good weekend good people.

Last smoke of the day is Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked.

More ingredients have arrived. The first two layers are "Dhumapana India Mix", the big ones on the bottom are Virginia Gold Lemon. Those are the best leaves I ever received, excellent overall quality!

I thought I'd celebrate with a good pinch of straight Louisiana Perique in my clay.

This is just how I like it, a strong smoke with a strong taste. I think there is a new Perique lover on this planet.
My stomach has nothing but two cups of peppermint tea in it and I'm getting a little woozy. This is great! 😁
Can't wait to get a proper dark Latakia or a dark fired Kentucky.

We had great fun last night at the Houston Pipe Club meeting. I smoked from 6:00 to 10:00 until I was smoked out.

Off the top of my head, I smoked a number of new-to-me blends including Balkan Sobranie, McConnel Red, Bosun Cut Plug and MacBaren Burley Sliced. That’s a great tradition of ours - everyone lays out their tobacco on the table and anyone can smoke anything.

We probably had 10 guys come. The theme for the night was bring your big pipes. Here is my buddy with his ridiculously thick pipe, but it is beautiful.

Houston guys, come join us next month. 1st Friday of the month at Stogies World Class Cigars, starting at 6:00.

Smoking an excellent bowl of SG Full virginia plug. Now if you think the flake is hard to set fire to,you should try the plug. After dicing it into tiny cubes I left it sitting in the pipe for three days before putting a flame to it.The result is well worth the effort. The plug seems sweeter than the flake as you go down the bowl.Iam smoking it in a Stanwell 207 smooth briar.

Happy Premier League Mornings folks! Got a tasty mix bowl loaded (50/50 Sun Bear Mountain Flower and ESO St. Ives) in this Doctor's Bamboozled Brandy and getting ready for the Tottenham/Brighton game in a little bit:
