Nice! I have been admiring the 55. How does it compare to other comparable high end pipes from other makers?
I just smoked a bowl of Capstan Blue in a Butz Choquin Dublin, after 4 days in the hospital.
Can't taste true flavors but, the act itself was therapeutic.

Greenodd in a 1900 Ben Wade restored and restemmed by Ryan Alden. Love that the stem looks like horn.
Good Friday everyone. Enjoying a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in my small briar. Beautiful, sunny, 50F day today. Had a good walk with my dog. Was treated to the sight of a flock of 15 wild turkeys scratching and feeding on a hillside. My dog saw them, but just stared. He knows his short, 11 year old legs would never keep up with those runners of the bird world. Hope y'all have a fine evening.
Now smoking Watch City New Beta in a 1980s SMS eagle claw egg medium bend meerschaum signed by J. Boglon with a brown and cream swirl acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Good morning and happy Saturday everyone. Smoking some MB club blend in my virgin Castello #33 in full sunshine, first we have had in quite a few days.
These virgin pipes are quite incredible with how they colour, a bit like meerschaum in some ways. This pipe has smoked as good or better than anything else I own and I put it down to the briar being able to breathe instead of having the pores of the wood filled with wax, stain and shellac etc……..
It‘s like the pipe is alive and transforms for the better every time you smoke it.

Just passing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2021 Watch City Glass Slipper Micro-Batch in an undated straight brown sandblasted Tom Eltang cherrywood with a black acrylic saddle stem. Watching game one of the World Series.
