Nice! I have been admiring the 55. How does it compare to other comparable high end pipes from other makers?
This one is an excellent smoker, as are my other Castellos. You can get 55s from other makers too. My other 55 is this Radice.

It smokes great and was about half the price. Moretti also makes 55s that are much more affordable than Castello. I don’t have a 55, but the Morettis I have are fine smokers.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner, and then I had a big, fat falafel wrap. Dessert was a chocolate dipped strawberry ice cream bar. I'm almost half way through this bowl from a freshly opened tin of Robert McConnell’s Ready Rubbed in a straight dark brownish rocky 1960-70s Peterson meer poker with a factory replacement tapered black AB p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Working on a review of this blend as I watch the ball game.

Enjoyed some hummus and Middle Eastern bread, and then a golden delicious apple. I'm almost half way through this bowl of Hearth & Home AJ’s Vaper in a pre-1952 Sutliff Falcon 372 (made by Comoy’s) smooth light brown straight bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. I'll go to work when this game is over. It's 5-5 in the 9th.
