4th Generation Afternoon Melange in an AKB Meerschaum lattice Rhodesian. Got this sample from Mr. Erik Stokkebye himself. He was at my local tobacconist today and he is very friendly. Afternoon Melange, as well as Morning Blend, are great blends and I'll definitely be ordering more.

About a third of a bowl left of Hearth & Home AJ’s Vaper in a pre-1952 Sutliff Falcon 372 (made by Comoy’s) smooth light brown straight bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This freshly made batch that I got directly from Sutliff has more of a perique presence than it did when I smoked it years ago.

A half-bowl of Drew Estate Grand Central (gotta conserve!) in a Savinelli Mattone 601 bent billiard. To drink? A glass of Green Fin (red) from Trader Joe's. At $4.50/bottle, it's the best deal around (and organic too!). Bird report: California scrub-jay, California towhee, Blue-grey gnatcatcher, Common raven, White-breasted nuthatch, Mountain chickadee, American tree sparrow, and Dark-eyed junco. Wind has been off the hook lately, so I'm glad it calmed down for a spell.

Kings AND Dodgers on tonight...should be fun (or excruciating).
