For us country folk, those two-cycle power tools are a necessity… I’m especially fond of chainsaws. I can appreciate the small nuisance it could create in town, but I find towns/cities to be a nuisance in general! LOL Hope the noise didn’t lay too long and you got to enjoy that pipe!Ahhhh Saturday morning pipe and coffee. GLP Chelsea Morning in a Peterson XL 315 Silver Spigot with coffee/ cream.
I‘m only 50 but can I be a pipe smoking old curmudgeon, get off my lawn…etc for a moment. God bless those who work hard beautifying the world landscaping, cleaning, caring for green things. But, mother F’n, for the love of all things holy, damn the person who created the power trimmer, blower, and small 2 stroke engines! It is the most irritating disruptive sound pollution.

JKoD, I enjoy sitting outside with my pipes when I can. I spend the winter in the garage when it’s cold or windy. But I will take it over a non smoking day anytime.Every day is a garage smoking kinda day ?
As tools totally necessary and understood. But, every day in town everywhere ahhhhhh. Just being selfish and NIMBY, of course until my landscaper comes to clean and I’m not home, then they’re wonderful. ?For us country folk, those two-cycle power tools are a necessity… I’m especially fond of chainsaws. Haha - I get it. I’ve lived in various sized towns and cities from Chicago to a small town with one stop sign. The consistent problem with all of them…neighbors. I like my space, I like my quiet and I like the ability to enjoy life’s simple pleasures with no one other than my wife complaining about it. ? But, what does burn my arse are litterbugs who drive by and use my property as a trash can and people who trespass.
