Enjoyed a tasty peach, and am about a quarter of a bowl left of Sutliff Prince Andrew in a 1980s straight smooth Big Ben pot with a nickel band and a black vulcanite saddle stem. Did a long set of walks, fed the outdoor cats, and I get to relax now. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Do you like the Sutliff version of PA over bog standard PA?

Yes and no. They are similar in some ways, but PA is a step deeper in flavor, and a little rougher. It loses just a little topping towards the finish, and if you're a fast puffer (which I am not), you can get a cigarette note or two. Certainly, you notice the burley more. That doesn't happen with the Match, which holds its flavor to the end, and it's smoother, too. PA has a small chemical note which the Match does not. So, there are trade-offs here.

I smoke the Match when I am walking. It's pleasant, hardly needs a relight (which is important because I don't want to stop my walking reps to relight any more than I have to). I smoke a bowl of PA each day because the room note pleases m'lady.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad and pepperoni pizza dinner on an off-diet day. Had some Madagascar vanilla bean ice cream, and while I'm waiting for a slice or two of m'lady's chocolate creme pie, I'm smoking Peter Heinrichs Curly Block in a straight black sandblasted 1968 Dunhill Shell bulldog with a black vulcanite stem. Recently, some fella who wrote a review of this blend at TR claims they changed the formula and added burley. A friend sent me a sample from an August 2020 batch so I can find out if it's true or not.
