Nording six panel briar stuffed with LJP Thanksgiving Day '23.
A very enjoyable burly forward blend. Smoked very well with hints of cocoa, and a sweet nuttiness I'd expect from a quality burly blend. I think a bit of age will really bring this together nicely.
Thanksgiving Day was one of my favorite pairings with morning coffee this last year.

Awesome poker!
Thank you! It's a large one, too. Narrow and deep chamber. Fits a full size HH Lat flake (from the 1lb boxes) perfectly, and burns them the same. It's my first strawberrywood, picked it up from Pipestud when he was selling Mason's pipes, and I love it. Got another strawberrywood from Mason, too, but not smoked it yet (maybe Christmas?).

Just finished smoking year 2018 Solani 633 in a straight 1954 patent Dunhill 148 Group 3 black shell bulldog made for the France market with a black saddle vulcanite stem. Next is Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem.
