About a quarter of a bowl left of Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Been researching a few things for a job I am doing.

Been too busy to post this, but a couple of days ago, before the incessant rain, most of the ferals were walking with me. At one point, Sam the Scamp plopped down in front of me to get my attention, then he talked to me, sniffed my legs, and laid his head on my foot. Then, he got up, and meowed for food.

Going to have War Horse Bar in an F. Savinelli (Ferruccio Savinelli from the Angelo Savinelli branch of the family that set up their shop at Galleria Mazzini 31 in Genova, not the Via Orefici 2 shop that still stands in Milano where Achille Savinelli, Sr. had set up their store back in 1876) Horse Figural with glass eyes and a natural horn stem. I initially thought this was from the ’80s, but I’m leaning more towards the ’50s or ’60s based on the horn stem and that these kinds of goofy looking horse figurals were prevalent in Italy then.

Im gonna be smoking some Directors cut In a Rovera/Ardor but first I have to make a smoke cave in the basement. Its usually nice enough to smoke outside in the winter. It is typicically sunny and in the 50's. Today however is rainy, windy and generally nasty. Ive a nice window in the basement. I can have fresh air and be comfortable. Nothing fancy, a chair, side table and a make shift foot stoll should do the trick.

Smokin in the cellar. It’s nice and quiet. I think Im going to need to fix me up a spot better than this. Plenty of room, good wifi. I prefer my smokes in the sun but it’s not always gonna be sunny

Enjoy this new to me pipe. Its nice when people take care of their stuff. Feels like new

Rough night of sleeplessness. Bayou morning Flake in a J Davis. I’m back to really working hard to sip my pipe and be conscious of my smoking technique. I’m prone to smoking way too fast and hot. I’d made progress on this initially but felt myself slipping back into old ways which could potentially damage my now very precious pipe collection. Just focusing on sipping seems to keep the smoke cool.
