Passing the half way mark on this bowl of Fall 2023 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a 2003 smooth reddish brown medium bend, gold banded 3 Star Ferndown Tudor Root with a tapered black acrylic stem. I can tell this version was aged longer than previous productions. It's smoother and a tad spicier.
Viprati as the second smoke in the new briarWorks Blasted Zulu, on the rooftop deck of my hotel. The ghost of Sam’s flag is there after one bowl!
I'll get some better pics when the sun is up.
Maybe I'm on a bit of a "pointy heel" kick. I've got a "Pipe-Dan Marcellus" shape commission in the works.

More experimentation! First ever VaPer, in the Shortie.
Spicy but not hot. Curing house flavour/aroma. like the curing loft at Lower Fort Garry in Manitoba. More assertive retrohale but still pleasant. The smoke seems thicker, and fuller. Puts me in mind of a nice highland scotch to compliment it - something leading with clover honey, Dalwhinnie. Finishing note of bread?

Had Stokkebye LBF and 1792 Flake this afternoon in the same MM cob as earlier posted.
CS "Aqualand the Black" (not sure of the name actually and can't read the handwriting. It's an unreleased blend so far, blended for a member in my pipe club. I bought 4oz at a show after some convincing from JD. Its basically Green Dragon with Perique). Smoking from a Casanova bent egg with some tea. 
Very little makes me jealous of anything British, but that sure does!!!

Yeah, I received a tobacco order today. Does it show? Putting the Crumble Kake VaPer in the meer now (not Krumble as I previously posted). I'm having almost as much fun as Tate!
That bready note I fist experienced has resolved itself into a more definite gingerbread/allspice cookie aroma, but subtler. Zestier than the Red Virginia Kake.

Just had a little taster of Rouxgaroux in a small clay. Fantastic stuff, Jim! The quality of leaf in these blends is automatically noticeable. The cleanness of the flavors. Excited for a full bowl after dinner!
Now smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
WAYS will have to wait until at minimum tomorrow night for my Rougaroux post
Smoked both my Scottie pipes today. KBV 2023 Goblin City in the smooth...
...(I like this blend a lot. It's different. I like blends that have a mere whisper of Latakia. This is a great Oriental/Balkan, whatever you want to call it. TR calls it a Scottish blend.
