@Carol Nice pipe; I love Gawith tobacco in my clays. Can you imagine how many clay pipes have been smoked with Gawith tobacco over the years? The local tobacconists in Chesterfield & Buxton sell loose Gawith Hoggarth - perfect for the Clay King!
I re-use empty pipe tobacco pouches for clay pipe storage and for my loose Gawith Hoggarth. Going to get some loose Gawith Hoggarth when I go to Buxton again. Not much single use with me!
Some football, my boy Hank, and a bowl of SG Black XX Twist. Terrific.
Gravity fill, give a press with your thumb to pack the tobacco down below the rim. Light, and tamp to adjust the draw as you go as necessary.

Spent some quality time with my Saturday ZOOM buddies as I smoked some 1989 McClelland No. 24 in my old Barling's 409 smooth pot with a saddle stem. I had my usual beverage, Peach/Mango Green Tea in a tall tumbler with bergs and a splash of Honey Jack. A lovely way to spend the afternoon.
Dark Flake in a beat up Peterson Dublin 120 (without filter), black coffee with a shot of Smith and Cross rum in it on the side.
Moved on to some Mac Baren 7 Seas Regular in a Peterson Dracula bent bulldog.
Funny you mention fence...
Before we moved in, someone was building a rock wall, and it was going on the property, so they stopped building it all the way across. You can see the stone wall, not completed all the way across.
Then this year, a new owner bought the house behind us, and put up the wooden fence you seen the pic below.
But boy oh boy, this guy was going off last night.
I’ve been on this rock since 91, just waiting for the Mrs to retire, and then Adios!

Hawaii is absolutely insanely expensive, average median price is 700,000.
I would never ever recommend living in Hawaii to anyone, unless you were filthy rich, and could live on a ranch some place out of the way and quiet, suburban life here, is crap.
Granted, there are certainly a lot of places where it’s a hell of a lot better than Mainland suburban living, but it can be wacked here too...
Sure, if I only had NYC and LA to pick, damm straight I’d live here, but there’s a massive world of extremely beautiful country, where you have space and peace.
Space & Peace aren’t easy to come by out here, unless you are filthy rich to afford space, so you can have some peace.
