Smoking the last scraps of HH Pure Virginia in the worlds smallest Castello.
I haven’t tried it yet but on spec and recommendation, I cellared ten tins (last drop). I heard nothing but good things about this blend.
Pipe Force VI in a Scovgaard, so far, this is my kinda smoke.

Not smoking anything in it yet - just picked it up today! She caught my eye and I couldn't leave without her. Fresh from the new batch of Blatter & Blatter briar, a beautiful little Zulu. (It's funny because I knew that they had just received some new briar and were starting to make some new pipes. I had the intention, walking in the store to ask if they had a Zulu in mind and then I saw it!) We'll see what goes in it tomorrow at lunch.

Just finished smoking D&R Penhooker in a 1990 straight dark brown Commemorative reproduction of the 1890 Peterson Patent System 12393 stack billiard with a silver band and a bowed black acrylic 32 AB long stem p-lip. Taking a break from working.
Judging by the description of the recent release the previous batch they produced didn’t have Perique and I can’t taste any in it, it’s one of the worst tasting blends I’ve had to be honest but this latest batch seems to be based on the original and might be very different. I’m going to try adding some Perique to what I have but the base itself is so nasty I doubt it’ll make much difference. This new version might be worth trying. I know some like the version I have but it’s not to my taste, it’s all subjective of course.Thanks, I have enough bitey VA to last a lifetime!
I think MacB do this quite often, rereleasing a blend but not to the original spec.

HH Pure Virginia in a Stanwell Hand Cut
Fed the ferals, and am passing the first third of this bowl of Sutliff Cringle Flake (Holiday Edition 2023) in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a silver band and a pearl brown acrylic saddle stem. Not far from finishing the review. The sticking point is that some aspects of the katerini are similar to that of the perique, and isolating their effects has been a tad challenging, but I think I have it figured out.
