Yesterday I popped a tin of Cobblestone Virginia Plug. Called a plug, but really a crumble cake, as it says on the back of the tin. I did not have high expectations, as I have not had much prior luck with the blenders other products. However, I am pleasantly surprised. Medium / mild strength, with a very nice room note. Will I buy more? I am sure the answer is yes.

Iam smoking a large bowl of Erinmore Flake in a Savinelli 614 bought as an unfinished waxed pipe.It smokes really well.
@marconi I found the Erinmore Flake a damp squib and difficult to light; maybe I needed to dry it out a bit first. By contrast, I find Erinmore Mixture lighter in colour and burns too fast but not so much as Clan. Maybe if I mixed them together I'd get a slower burning pipe baccy...
I'd like to fill my largest clay pipe and see how long it takes to smoke. Do you think it matters if the pipe goes out and I have to relight it as this is against the rules of pipe smoking competitions???
