A kind of Virginia produced in Yunnan, which has been sprayed with Chinese Maotai wine, was shared by a friend. He is a Pu'erh tea grower, the virginia comes from his neighbor, a tobacco grower.
It has been put in Mason jar for three months and tastes good. But maybe it should be pressed into a cake and kept aging? I don't know

Unfortunately, my tobacco handling skills are limited to throwing boveda 69 into a fast drying jar.Looks good, and also the cat seems to like it. How would it taste without the wine? Did you get some experience with the Virginia before? Where are the blenders in that forum. What can you expect anyway when a tobacco of one kind is pressed?

The 500g Virginia that was mailed to me has been completely handled. Maybe next time I will send some brandy or whisky to the local people to replace Maotai.
