Now I got it, as I looked Maotai up, it’s a high percentage Schnaps. I had it once after a chinese dinner. Only a few amount goes a long way.

Also the chinese family that celebrated someone’s birthday next to us, halving dim sum, some soup, fish and chicken feet got the Schnaps. They were well on the way, shouting and laughing. They drank a little more. Nothing wrong with the strong Schnaps.
53%ABV, I can drink 450ml before I lose consciousness

What a machine, are you a professional caterer. I use that one once in a year, or so. Not that much into Crêpe anyways.

The real reason i purchased it is because my daughter turns 7 next month and wants a Paris themed party. 😂

But yeah, I have previously worked in hospitality, and whenever we see a second hand commercial grade appliance in good condition come up cheap we jump on it. I have a sandwich press/grill which is the centre piece of an annual pipe meet here. I guess now we can do a dessert version

Friday evening here... The workday was not so hard, weekend is coming, so I have time and mood for a longer smoke, therefore I loaded one of my 2 largest pipes, a Schrauf's which I bought from their store in Nuremberg, Bavaria. They also make house blends. In it I have SG Westmorland Mixture, an especially tasty tobacco, in my opinion. A very nice end of the week for all of you, good people.

Ah yea I understand, in the Bretagne they do it as dinner, with bacon cheese and whatever comes along.

But my favourite 🤩 is Crêpe Suzette. It takes some time. Delicious with slices of fresh oranges and some orange zests fried in a prepared pan of candid sugar, butter, and a certain amount of orange liquor like Grand Marnier. Let the Crêpes soak into it.

Maybe I fetch my crepe pan on sunday.

A bowl of good old Derringer in a Blakemar Briars Litchbruyere smooth antique stain bullcap. It might be time to order another bullcap from Mike as he has moved his operation from his shop to his home place.
This time maybe a brown blast that compliments a tortoise lucite stem?
Hot Belfast tea with a splash of milk to wet my whistle.
