I went to a small town on the southern Oregon coast for the day (about an hour and a half drive from my house) with my wife and daughter to celebrate our daughter’s third birthday. We spent many hours and the beach and stopped at our favorite sushi spot for lunch. There was also an extremely skilled kite flyer at the beach who put on a show for us. A third of a bowl left of 1970s Philip Morris Revelation in a 1920s-30s Grant’s Pipe Shop Corinthian Deluxe 409 (made by Comoy’s) smooth brown medium bend bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

After getting the leaves raked up quicker than I expected, I have time for an afternoon smoke on a sunny, yet brisk November afternoon. This Peterson 106 seemed like the right pipe for some GLP Quiet Nights and a dram of Ardbeg, “Wee Beastie” Peated Scotch .

Did a second set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a 1982 smooth straight Sasieni Ivory 105 Apple with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Now smoking Chris Morgan Jackalope in a straight burgundy sandblasted year 2019 straight Ryan Alden J billiard/pot with a tapered cumberland stem. This will last me a while. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

New sample of Sutliff match 20 (dunhill my mixture 965) in a ‘Royal Ascot’ bulldog. Looks gorgeous, smells great in the bag. After a few minutes of drying in the sun, it is delicious!
