Yet another bowl of “Derriston” (Coniston Cut Plug and Derringer) in a straight stem Falcon with a Bantam semi blasted Genoa bowl. I’m still playing with the ratios, but the two together are really delicious. Some cheap brandy to wet my whistle.

how do you combine these? just take a pinch or so of each to put in bowl, or do you mix them together, press 'em, age 'em, etc and then try it?Yet another bowl of “Derriston” (Coniston Cut Plug and Derringer) in a straight stem Falcon with a Bantam semi blasted Genoa bowl. Just a handful of each. The Derringer is already a manageable shred, but with the Coniston I cut the flakey strings in to 1/2” pieces and “tease” them a bit. Together they go! The Coniston comes fairly moist and the Derringer fairly dry so the Derriston is ready to smoke. This Councilman was REALLY NICE! Beautiful lingering aftertaste when done. I may be an instant fan. Will have to try more over the weekend.Georgetown's Councilman in an English Bulldog (before the wind drives me inside)
