The silver lining of getting up at 3 with your wee lad, is that he falls asleep on the way to church. Enjoying a much needed reprieve on the side of the road with uncle Ed in this Alden squat tomato 
Settling in for the afternoon shift. Nothing like spending a Saturday ploughing through even more redundant cr*p that has to be analyzed, shepherded and then argued in a poignant fashion that makes some sense. I fear today is going to be a three pipe problem. My most pressing issue is too cut up enough Bosun's plug to enable me to undertake this mammoth exercise in futility. The pipes I have selected for this task are my three most favorite 'clench able' work pipes, all 5 1/2" meerschaum 'cutty' pipes with amberite stems.

Now smoking Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark brown medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB military mount with a silver cap and a black tapered AB stem. The POTY will be on sale December 3. First time smoking this pipe. Basil Rathbone smoked Wilke No. 515 in a brown 4AB, so I am following that tradition. I'll post a thread about the Peterson POTY 4AB pipes soon.

Cracked open a tin of 2019 Peterson Hyde Park smoking it into a Dagner Cob with my first glass of eggnog of the season. 
It's been a little while!
Now smoking first release Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth natural medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No.6 military mount with a silver cap and a black tapered AB stem. Not many naturals were made.
