Nightcap for the evening is Haunted Bookshop in a Grabow. It’s good - but, OJK is better. To me, these seem to represent a smokers blend. Not that it’s a prized smoke from a taste perspective - but, you don’t risk tongue bite, tastes like tobacco, has good nicotine, and a no frills and zero concentration effort as there are no flavors to search for. . A straightforward experience every time that regardless of pipe delivers a consistent and balanced smoke every time. OJk White is a notch or so better for me. But, if you’re into down and dirty tobacco smoking and don’t have time for nuances out the wazoo and just want to smoke for some simple satisfaction - these are easy selections IMO.

Sail Regular in a Crown Jewels Sandblasted Billiard. I took advantage of the P and C pouch sail and bought 4 codger blends I'd yet to have. I tried three Borkum Riff blends and they are as solidly average as I thought they'd be. Some nice top notes, and the taste of ash. The Sail is tasty, though.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, porter house steak and black beans over saffron rice dinner with a scoop of strawberry ice cream for dessert. I'm nearing the half way mark on the last of my open stash of year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching one of my favorite movies, The Maltese Falcon. Some movies never wear out their welcome, and this is one of them.
