Oh ,Thats a beutiful one, I¨d presume those original Merchant Service pipes are a rare event nowadays in this like condition
Thanks Paul, I ran across this one after looking for several years and was thrilled to get it. It is in terrific shape being practically unsmoked when I acquired it. If you stumble on one grab it ! I know they aren’t everyone’s cup o tea but it’s a comfortable shape and enjoyable smoker.

This is a celebratory smoke, gents! C&D Carolina Red Flake24 in a 1945-47 Peterson Pot (Shape 207). I’ve been working on restoring this one. Still have some work to do but I wanted to take it for a stroll.

The cause for celebration? I became a grandfather last night! 8lb 15oz baby boy! Both mom and baby are doing great and healthy as can be. View attachment 350588View attachment 350589
