Gonna be a long day starting with a friend's funeral. Only time for a quick smoke. My miniature meer caught my eye on the rack. Taking some nice color now. Cherry dedicated, so I did a loose two pack of Borkum Riff Cherry Cavendish, my favourite of the breed. (I really like BR tobaccos - like the Danes, a sturdy people with bold tastes - think Danish Blue Cheese). Tiny pipe and short smoke, but a most delightful one. About the same as a McQueen miniature - 15 to 17 minutes, all I had time for. We'll see what the rest of the day brings. Not in a music mood today.
Why St Bruno? I have wondered what 17thC tobacco that made its way to England was like, and (given a TARDIS) what they would make of ours today.
@MisterBadger I was smoking 1792 Flake when I went to the Battle of Nantwich this year.
1792? Pah! Fie upon these newfangled modern aromaticks! Didst fight with my lord Byron, or with the Rebells?

Maybe some Erinmore Flake if I can't get any loose Gawith Hoggarth. But I thought the 1792 or St Bruno would suit as they're a dark & slow burning baccy. The Cavaliers & Roundheads say you don't want a baccy that burns like gunpowder!
