Aromatic morning smoke. Tiny bowl longstem, dedicated to Borkum Riff Cherry Cavendish, an aro tobacco with some balls. Enjoy it once a week or so in the AM. This little fella takes a miniscule amount of tobacco, and gives me 15 minutes or so of a good smoke, which sometimes is all I want in the early hours.. Enjoyed it so much I let the pipe cool down and did a repeat. Tobacco is great with cold coffee.

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Shepherds Pie in a cob. 8" snow at my house in last 36 hours. But the glorious New Mexico sun is finally out today. Going out and dig my paths and truck out before it all freezes up into solid ice tonight. Stay safe and warm folks.View attachment 347660
@Carol Here in sunny downtown New Jersey its unseasonably warm at 68* and we are in "extreme drought conditions". Would love some rain or your snow to slowly saturate the ground which I hope we get this winter. Shovel gently and don't injure your back. puffy

Yikes, I don't even want to tell you what the weather has been like up here in the Northeast... Only snow anywhere nearby seems to be in the White Mountains. Stay safe, warm, and dry!

First smoke in 48 hours... Welsh lessons 'til lunchtime, Christmas shopping thereafter. Walking home from town, the early dusk gathering in a blue-grey mist with shadows, the gloom of late autumn relieved by the yellows of lamplit windows, firesides and tenacious leaves... and the crunch of their fallen fellows underfoot; the scent of woodsmoke in the crisp air... and it's beginning to feel a lot like Som Besths. Anyway, this evening I have been entertained by my beat-up little Rhodesian Meer I ought to find a name for, with the goddess Peterson's Irish Flake, her kisses deep and golden-warm, lingering long upon the thirsting tongue...don't mind my burblings, I'm probably nicotine-stoned, is all... :)
