Chenet’s cake in a nice big Jess Chonowitsch billiard. I bought this estate because I love it esthetically, but also, I wanted a piece of Danish pipe history. To a certain extent, I paid for the name without knowing if it was worth it. The fact of the matter is it has turned into one of my best smokers, if not the best. So, I’ll be trying to buy more from him, not just because of the name, but because they live up to the name.

Off to work with a bowl of year 2020 D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a tapered black p-lip stem. All the ferals just showed up, so m'lady's taking care of them.
Thank you, I have admired them for years and this is my first. It won’t be my last, a big bent bulldog (without the fume) hopefully will be next.
I’ve been eyeing a couple myself! This black apple in particular but the timing isn’t right financially.

Just finished smoking Wilke No. 524 in an undated, unbranded, slight bend smooth darker brown made in France Los Alton VBF zulu with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Now smoking Wilke No. 78 in a straight black sandblasted undated, unbranded Made in France short shank billiard with a long black vulcanite tapered stem.
Stanwell Melange in a corn cob pipe. Got 2 new books (of poetry) yesterday. I have to confess that my BAD is greater than my PAD and far far more worst than my TAD. Very small (tiny) possibility that I'll be able to read all the unread books before... well, before we'll see each other again in antoher/better place where perhaps our *ADs will be cured...

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia in a straight black with a burgundy undertone sandblasted early 1960s Lane era Charatan 420 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Finished work for the day.
Sinking my teeth into some Louisana Broken Flake laced with Salty Dogs. Its in my Ser Jacopo custom.
