Digging through the estate pipes at a local pipe lounge and this one caught my eye. Bought it and found it’s a 2014 Mark Tinskey Coral.
Immediately bought some Eastfarthing and put them together. I fell in love. The Tinskey pipe smoked great and Eastfarthing is amazing.

It's a bit windy outside but it's also 72 degrees so I'm heading to the hottub with Until the End in my CAO pool meer and Marlin Flake in a no name but lovely egg in claw meer with a glass of Larsen Aqua Ignis cognac (and a bottleof Paulaner Salvator double-bock):

Enjoyed a bowl of Sutliff Voodoo Queen in a Savinelli Bacco 321 rusticated author, while taking the horse around the property to nibble fallen alfalfa detritus from a recent delivery. 8.5/10

Bird report: Dark-eyed junco, White-crowned sparrow, Golden-crowned sparrow, California towhee, American crow, California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, Red-tailed hawk, Northern flicker, Hairy woodpecker, House finch, Chipping sparrow, Mountain chickadee, White-breasted nuthatch, Western bluebird, and Spotted towhee. Another full cast, probably brought out by all the post-rainstorm bugs in the brush.

Got a sample of this a year or so ago. I'd have called it, "Give Me Dry Time." SPC has failed to contact me regarding a job opening in their PR department. Damn! :(

Many reviews say that it should be packed tightly, so I’ve been experimenting: it seems that the tighter I pack it, the less flavorful it is. Or maybe my nose is congested after kicking up dust in the basement all day. It’s still a mighty nice tobacco.

Edit: maybe the nose theory is correct. About 1/3 through the bowl and after a few retrohales, I’m getting that rich variety of flavor again.
